Become a Friend of AHOY

If you have ever been to our Deptford site, enjoyed some of our activities, or recently brought a young person to one of our programmes, then you’ll know how important our work is to the people of Greenwich and Lewisham.

The Friends of Ahoy is a new group of supporters who want to help the ongoing development of The Ahoy Centre by regularly donating. They know what it takes to keep the centre afloat and what it takes to continue to offer our life-changing activities to those who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity.

In return for a regular donation, you’ll become one of our official Friends and you’ll receive:

• Exclusive invitations to The Ahoy social events
• Access to The Ahoy venue hire
• Access to any of our courses
• Exclusive offers and opportunities throughout the year
• A great feeling that you are helping people change their lives through sailing and rowing, and allowing people to experience the thrill of being on the Thames.  

How do I become a Friend of Ahoy?

To become a Friend of The Ahoy you’ll agree to regularly donate £5 or more a month. UK tax-payers will also be able to claim Gift Aid, which means we get even more from your support.
