Shipmates is open to anyone from the ages of 8 to 18. AHOY aim to support disadvantaged children and young adults. The programme is committed to empowering youth in today’s society, teaching them how to sail, row, powerboat, and carry out a diverse range of tasks to broaden horizons.
This programme engages young people offering support and training to develop essential life skills. Our qualified and committed team of instructors will give participants a newly found confidence, whilst having the opportunity to gain RYA (Royal Yachting Association) and BR (British Rowing) national qualifications.
