Ahoy Rowing Challenges
Our Rowing Challenges are unique rowing events on the River Thames, raising vital funds for The AHOY Centre, a charity dedicated to transforming lives through water-based activities. We provide opportunities for young people and adults from disadvantaged or marginalised backgrounds to build confidence, develop skills, and access pathways to employment.

WHY JOIN A ROWING CHALLENGE?
Take on the River Thames in one of our six-seat Thames Waterman Cutters. With training and support from our expert team, you’ll row past London’s most famous landmarks while making a real difference.

Choose your challenge:

• Break The Barrier: Navigate the Thames Barrier, Greenwich Peninsula, the O2, and more.
• London Landmarks: Row from Chelsea to Greenwich, passing Tower Bridge and other iconic sites.
• The Great River Race: London’s 21.6-mile River Marathon, open to all abilities.
• These events are perfect for corporate team building or group bonding, offering a unique experience of teamwork, fitness, and breathtaking views.

FUNDRAISING FOR A CAUSE
Teams commit to raising between £3,000 and £6,000, depending on the challenge. Your efforts directly support The AHOY Centre’s mission to empower local communities through sailing, rowing, and maritime activities.
