Ahoy Rowing Challenges
Our Rowing Challenges are unique rowing events on the River Thames, raising vital funds for The AHOY Centre, a charity dedicated to transforming lives through water-based activities. We provide opportunities for young people and adults from disadvantaged or marginalised backgrounds to build confidence, develop skills, and access pathways to employment.
WHY JOIN A ROWING CHALLENGE?
Take on the River Thames in one of our six-seat Thames Waterman Cutters. With training and support from our expert team, you’ll row past London’s most famous landmarks while making a real difference.

WHAT OUR ROWERS SAY
The AHOY Centre does incredible work, giving disadvantaged, at-risk, and disabled young people the chance to develop skills and confidence through sailing, rowing, and powerboating. We are incredibly proud to have supported them for the past nine years by taking part in the Meridian Pull, an 8.5-mile row along the Thames.
As project managers, we’re no strangers to tackling challenges, and this event is no exception! The unpredictable weather and strong tides make for tough conditions, but once the competitiveness kicks in, you find a way through – making it an incredibly rewarding experience.
The AHOY team are fantastic, always going the extra mile to ensure every event is run with precision, care, and plenty of fun. Every member of our team who has taken part has found it an unforgettable experience!
If you are looking to do something different for your next fundraising event – we would fully recommend partnering with the AHOY Centre to help support them delivering the amazing opportunities they provide.
