RYA ADULT LEVEL 1 - START SAILING Course

What is RYA LEVEL 1 START SAILING?

This course provides a short introduction to sailing for novices. By the end of the course, you will have a basic understanding of dinghy-handling techniques and background knowledge. It is recommended that all participants consolidate this short introduction with the Basic Skills and Better Sailing courses.

Who Can do it?

Anyone aged 16 years and above. No prior expire needed

Please bring the following:

Weather-appropriate clothing: wetsuits, hats and gloves when cold.
Footwear you don’t mind getting wet.
Packed lunch and a water bottle. (There are shops near the centre.)

We will supply the following:

Waterproof Jackets and Salopettes
Lifejackets / Buoyancy aids
RYA log books / Certificate

Approximately 16 hours over two full days. Starting 09:30 and finishing around 16:30
